Hello! Firstly, welcome to our first biannual newsletter/ blog of 2023!!!
Our BIG news today, is our NEW WINDOW, NEW HOURS! It’s been a long hard slog and a long time coming, but starting this Monday 19th June we will be allowing Ben a day off by closing the agency on a Monday (we think he’s earn’t it!?).
Whilst Ben will be off, he will always be contactable via phone & email should you need us in case of an emergency. We will also be operating an advance appointment system for Monday’s going forward, so please get in touch to book in! You will also notice our slightly later opening time of 9:30am Tuesday - Friday, but everything else remains the same.
Finally, we would like to give a heartfelt thank you, to YOU, our loyal clients. It’s only because of your constant and amazing ongoing support that we’re now in a very lucky and fortunate position to grow and adapt the business in our own individual and independent way! THANK YOU!!!
6 months in and 2023 has been an EPIC year so far. We have been overjoyed seeing all our lovely loyal regulars in the agency and returning new clients from last year, who are now coming back to book with us again for their travels this year. On-top of this, we are constantly consulting and booking new walk-ins, referrals, and organic lead's through Google & social media - it's quite simply a dream come true!
We always like to give you a little insight into our world of travel and there's always something new...so here's a taster.
Our top selling destinations for summer 2023 are without doubt Italy (multi centre) and Mauritius, it's all about the Aperol and the Dodo!
IKOS have just opened (Friday 16th June) their amazing brand new resorts in Mallorca 'Porto Petro' and Corfu 'Odisia' availability is tight for summer 2023, but still possible - get in touch today to discuss our exclusive 'IKOS ambassador status' benefits.
Virgin Atlantic have announced their long awaited return of their direct Manchester to Las Vegas 3 times a week from June 2024.
Brand new luxury cruise line Explora Journeys are all set for their maiden voyage out of Southampton on the 17th July 2023. Explora Journeys is going to be the Sani/IKOS of the seas - it looks an incredible product which we hope to be trying ourselves in the not too distant future.

AMA waterways are all set to operate the very first-ever river cruise programme on the Magdalena river in Colombia starting in 2024.
Richard Branson's new baby in Mallorca 'Son Bunyola' opened it's doors to it's first guests on Friday 16th June. The Travel Journal have some fantastic opening deals and 'added value' for all new bookings departing right up until the end of 2023.
Our travels so far this year have taken us back to Valletta, Malta for Easter celebrations and stunning Lake Como staying at the icon that is 'Grand Hotel Tremezzo'. Future travels will be taking us back to IKOS Andalusia in July, The Maldives in August, and Phuket for New Year...we just need to join the dots in the middle now! ha-ha.
